The most striking characteristic of the 1736 Classic is its clear focus on the hour, minute and date display. The elements are arranged in such a way as not to distract from the classic design of the case. The striking visual impression is underscored by a pure white, particularly exquisite lacquered enamel dial. The words “Sinn Frankfurt am Main” serve both as an indication of the watch’s provenance and a seal of quality. The discreet lettering allows plenty of room for the Roman numerals on the edge of the dial, making the watch eminently easy to read.
Many watch lovers have expressed a desire for a smaller (36 mm), elegant and traditional chronograph, and the Model 1736 Classic delivers. The timepiece combines classic elegance with technical precision. The case is made of polished stainless steel, and the scratch-resistant, rounded sapphire crystal glass is anti-reflective on both sides. The anti-reflective, sapphire crystal base allows an unobstructed view of the impressive movement with blued screws. And as connoisseurs of Sinn watches have come to expect, the chronograph is perfectly suited for everyday use. It is anti-magnetic, waterproof, pressure-resistant to 10 bar (equivalent to an underwater depth of 100 meters) and resistant to low pressure
