To request a service or a warranty review on your timepiece please fill out our Service & Warranty Repair Form below. 

To keep the job flowing as quickly as possible, please fill out all mandatory fields (including the best return address and method) and print a copy of your confirmation email to include when sending your.

Please note that due to our focus on mechanical watches we do not offer battery changes on the spot in our Noosa boutique. Please contact the service centre for further details by completing the online form.

If you have a Sinn UX model that requires a repair or service, this has to be done in Germany due to the special Oil Filling. We are happy to handle insured shipping, invoicing, and customs procedures for you. Please contact us via our contact form

  • The following recommendations are for warranty and service shipments back to Define from countries other than Australia. These are recommendations to help expedite the job flow but please ensure to check with your local post service or courier to establish the exact shipment and customs requirements.

    In general,

    • Ensure you fill out a “commercial invoice” as it is required by your post service or courier.
    • Declare the value considering that it is (in most cases) a used watch. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions or need further advice.
    • Clearly note, on the paperwork, that the watch is returning for “A warranty/service repair – free of charge – and will be returned to sender after the repair has been done!”

    This is important to avoid confusion or unnecessary costs with customs.

We recommend shipping via or Express Post with signature on delivery or secure courier. So far we did not experience any lost items, however, you might consider extra insurance coverage as we, Define, will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items before your watch has arrived here!

To save on shipping costs, there is no need to send the original box, however, please ensure your watch is well-packed and protected with bubble wrap/similar padding.

If you are local in Noosa, you can certainly drop your watch off in our shop, together with the filled-out repair form. We can handle shipping to Adelaide for you.

If you are local in Adelaide, feel free to drop off you watch to the service centre, together with the filled-out repair form.

This is a general price guide only and may vary depending upon the service/repair issue and works required.

These prices relate to base models from the brands we import including: Sinn, Muehle, Tutima, Hanhart with minimum complications. They do not cover more exclusive brands a with bespoke or special complications and technical enhancements and are intended as a guide only.
For more involved repairs we will provide a quote for parts and labour depending upon the issue at the time.

Standard revision/maintenance service includes:
– disassemble movement, clean all parts and remove debris, replacement of wear parts (seal kits, crown, stem/tube) as required, complete lubrication and assembly, fine adjustments, pressure tests as required and full bench testing

Cost:

  • 3 hand automatic : $585.00
  • Automatic chronograph : $730.00
  • Quartz : $350.00

 

Each service job incurs a one-off insured shipping cost of $48.00 to return the item.

** All repairs need to be assessed in person for final quotation. Please be aware that additional charges may be incurred if a watch has damage that requires parts/works other than the items covered in a standard revision. In these cases, quotes will be provided upfront. There may be a $40 redeemable charge for quote investigations.
