Sinn 856
Model: 856.011
Just how functional can a watch be? This is a question Sinn has been asking themselves since founding the company and the answer was inspired by their cockpit navigation clocks. Conceived for the instrument panels of aeroplanes and helicopters, and optimised to provide rapid and clear readability, Sinn’s instruments are specifically designed to offer time measurement in its purest and most legible form.
This is why Sinn’s cockpit clocks and instruments served as the inspiration for the creation of the 856 watch collection which features many of the same characteristics as the tried and tested instruments as well as Magnetic Field Protection of up to 80,000 A/m to enhance functionality. An added feature of this collection is the special tegiment surface finish that Sinn developed to increase the hardness on the case and crown in order to elevate scratch resistance well-above normal stainless steel levels.
The dial design ensures especially clear readability with maximum contrast of the hands, indices and numerals against the glare-free matt black dial. The extremely large numerals, coated with SuperLuminova allow intuitive orientation, even in dimly lit environments. Even the striking hand profiles have been coated with special, long-lasting, luminous paint to ensure accurate reading at a glance.
Whether you wear your 856 on leather, silicone or matching tegiment-hardened H-link metal bracelet, this watch is robust, reliable and timeless.
