Mühle-Glashütte Teutonia IV Lady Gold Bicolour

Description

Mühle-Glashütte Teutonia IV Bicolour (18-carat gold bezel)
Model: M1-44-51-LB-V-VII

An eternal beauty: the Teutonia IV Lady with an 18-carat gold bezel

Mühle-Glashütte expands its family of Teutonia IV Lady watches with a model as beautiful as it is valuable, as is highlighted by its precious bi-colour case and 18-carat gold bezel.

It’s a well-known fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When it comes to the new Teutonia IV Lady with its elegant bi-colour case, however, there’s no denying its stunning appearance, especially when dazzled by the 18-carat gold that the independent watch manufacturer Mühle-Glashütte has used for the bezel of its sophisticated women’s watch. This precious material not only makes the newest member of the watch family a valuable item of jewellery but also harmonises perfectly with its brilliant white face and beige-coloured suede strap to achieve timeless beauty at its very best.

The canvas for the beauty of the Teutonia IV Lady is a 33.5-millimetre-large stainless steel case. As is typical of the Teutonia family, the middle of the case features a vertical finish
applied carefully by hand. The top surfaces of the volute-shaped lugs are finely polished and perfectly complement the straightforward design of the bezel of the Teutonia IV Lady, which makes it the first model in the family to be adorned with solid gold.

The harmony of the model continues on its brilliant white face, where the bi-colour design of the case is reflected in the form of intricately gold-plated lance-shaped hands and applied indices. To add to the elegance, the indices at the three, six- nine and twelve o’clock positions stand out as slim, raised roof-shaped bars, which in turn contrast with the delicate hemispheres sunken into the face to mark the full hours in-between. The hour and minute scales are separated from the centre of the face by a diamond-cut dial division, which elegantly curves around the date display in the 6 o’clock position for easy readability of both the time and date.

The strap of this glorious time measuring instrument is just as sophisticated as its face thanks to its soft suede material. By choosing to present the strap in a complementary fine beige shade, the designers at Mühle-Glashütte allow the luxurious gold of the case and face to take centre stage. Like all wristwatches in the Teutonia IV Lady family, this new star is fitted with quick-release spring bars that make it compatible with all other straps. It can therefore quickly be transformed into the perfect companion for any occasion, be it an exclusive evening event or a pleasurable sailing excursion.

This fine women’s watch is beautiful on the inside as well, where a reliable Mühle version automatic movement demonstrates perfect precision. Typical for Mühle, this movement is fitted with a particularly shockproof woodpecker neck fine regulation, the matching balance cock and an efficient Mühle rotor. Once its components have been carefully finished and assembled, the movement is put to the test in six different positions and set to achieve accuracy values of between 0 and a maximum of +8 seconds per day. This precision target complies with the German chronometer standard and Mühle’s own regulation standards to ensure that no wearer of a Mühle watch is never even fashionably late because of their time measuring instrument. After all, while the owner of a Teutonia IV Lady can gain forgiveness for her lateness simply with a dazzling smile, an imprecise watch is unforgivable, even one as beautiful as a Mühle watch.
