Nautically inspired watches to put the wind in your sails
In its ProMare family of watches, Mühle-Glashütte is offering not one, but three time measuring instruments for fans of the great outdoors who really want to stand out. The name of this range bears witness to its actual heritage as a combination of the Latin terms “pro” and “mare”, which fittingly translate to “for the sea”. As their name suggests, these sporty watches pride themselves on providing the nautical values typical of all Mühle products, namely maximum precision, excellent readability and outstanding robustness. It is precisely these properties that also make the sporty timepieces an attractive option for active wearers who like to keep their feet on dry land, for example campers, hikers, mountain bikers and more. After all, although they are designed to meet the high demands of life at sea, the three time measuring instruments in the ProMare family also have nothing against casting their anchors and enjoying life with the landlubbers.
ProMare Lady: a Natural and Nautical Beauty
The ProMare Lady is a true treasure of the seas. Its clear yet softly flowing lines not only make it look like a stunning mermaid rising up from the waves, but are also shimmering proof that a sporty women’s watch can be both robust and elegant at the same time. The nautical heritage of the ProMare Lady is clear at first glance due to the inclusion of elements of the sea in its design. The beautiful mother of pearl that adorns its face, for example, is a purely natural product formed by molluscs such as pearl oysters. Hour markings made of artistically cut crystal glass and indices applied by hand add even more charm to the watch’s elegant appearance and provide a stylish finishing touch for its clear yet attractive face. The overall design of the face is framed by a pure white bezel ring, which is harmoniously complemented by a white leather or rubber strap.
The ProMare Lady combines feminine elegance with a good helping of self-confidence and is therefore a sporty women’s watch that offers both natural beauty and a strong character. Its 39-millimetre-wide case made of polished and brushed stainless steel features a crown protection element that acts as clear proof that this time measuring instrument is also ideal for use in the great outdoors. The ProMare Lady, also water-resistant up to 30 bars and fitted with Mühle-Glashütte’s patented woodpecker neck regulation and a waterproof leather/rubber strap, is not easily impressed. To put it simply, this watch was made from the elements of the sea in order to withstand the tough elements of life, be it stormy weather, a difficult trail or a hard day of work at the office.
