The popular 29er collection was introduced in 2006 and named it after a small sailing dinghy class that represented functionality and fun. Similarly the 29er watch collection by Muehle-Glashuette centres around functionality and performance with a streamlined appearance.
Thanks to its slim case design, the elegant 29 Casual with its navy blue face and subtle dial markings brings another option to fans of this collection. At just 9.35 millimetres, the 29er Casual has the flattest case in the current Muehle collection. The diameter of the 100m water-resistant, stainless steel case is a comfortable 42.4 millimetres and, as such, feels at home in the water but also cuts a fine figure on land when teamed with a sporty slim-fit suit jacket.
With its straightforward yet striking design, the 29er Casual is set to become a new favourite. Its defining quality is its combination of contrasting surface finishes. The bezel alone features both a brushed top surface and finely polished sides. The middle section of the case has a vertical finish that is framed by the bezel and the screwed-on back, the sides of which are also perfectly polished. This alternation between shiny and matt surfaces creates an array of light reflections akin to the sun sparkling in the waves.
