The stunning Sleeping Beauty collection is the result of a joint venture with award-winning Singaporean artist and designer Michael Koh. The combination of Moritz Grossmann’s horological mastery and Michael Koh’s exceptional creativity and design finesse culminate in four stunningly elegant timepieces for discerning women of refinement.
Despite its grace and streamlined aesthetics, many serious watchmaking elements are featured in TEFNUT. The in-house calibre with a classic pillar movement and 3/5 plate embodies many of Grossmann’s characteristic elements such as the cantilevered balance cock, finely finished Grossmann positioning screws, raised chatons, separable winder module and weight-optimised Grossmann balance.
A further jewellery watch for the TEFNUT family was the result of a joint venture between two worlds: an imaginative motif created by award-winning designer Michael Koh from Singapore paired with schönstes deutsches Handwerk of the Grossmann manufacture in Glashütte. Michael Koh‘s passion is exceptional precious stones that he showcases in unique ways. His creations tell mystical stories — the TEFNUT Sleeping Beauty leads us to the secretive world of the moon.
Despite its grace and compact size with a diameter of 26 mm and a height of merely 4 mm, the modified calibre 102.0 sets the stage for a fairy-tale scene. The classic pillar movement with the 3/5 plate embodies characteristic Grossmann calibre elements such as the cantilevered balance cock, the Grossmann poising screws, the raised chatons, the separately removable winder module, and the mass-optimised Grossmann balance.
The White Sleeping Beauty case is fashioned in the pure 750/000 white gold for a clean and simple look. The bezel is set with 60 white, brilliant-cut diamonds in a diminishing application. The white mother of pearl dial, brown-violet hands and blue moon set with 62 brilliant cut white diamonds complete the dial with subtle accents. The TEFNUT Sleeping Beauty Milanaise is now available with an elaborate Milanaise bracelet: it is made in white gold to match the case and lends the watch its perfect elegance. Thanks to the ultra-fine workmanship, it gently nestles on the wrist and feels cool and airy on the skin even on hot days. The folding clasp can be variably adjusted and easily released.

Michael Koh – Bio of the artist
At just 18, Michael Koh was the youngest jewellery designer to receive the Diamond of Distinction Award 1990 and the Young Designer Award. These distinctions were followed by the Hong Kong Design Award and the Diamond International Award. Since then, Michael has established his own Luxury Jewellery brand and has gained a reputation as one of the world’s most innovative jewellery designers. His passion for precious stones drives his inspiration and he collects the rarest and most beautiful stones on trips to mines all over the world.
