At Lehmann, design and manufacture proceed seamlessly from start to finish. As such, the accuracy of Lehmann watches is certified by test institute “Deutsche Chronometerprüfstelle” in Glashütte. Each piece meets or exceeds chronometer standards with tolerances successfully reduced from 200 micron to 40 micron. A Lehmann timepiece is a tribute to watchmaking precision.
The Intemporal Date window features a centred hour, minute and second hand and small date window at 3 o’clock. The fine-grain pattern on the dial affords excellent legibility despite the minimalistic, overall design treatment. Polished steel indices span the outer and inner dial edge creating uniformity and balance. The use of colour to showcase the engraving works particularly well. Depending on the way the light falls, the dial reflects different shades of blue, creating a subtle effect.
Another feature that sets Lehmann watches apart from the competition is the signature case design. The smooth lines of the highly polished steel case have been meticulously conceived and crafted by Markus Lehmann and his team to draw the eye towards the dial and create a gentle flow to the entire case. The innovative, integrated lug/band system is patented and ensures optimal wearer comfort.
The movement within is beautifully finished and placed on view through a sapphire crystal, exhibition case back. In this model, the watch is wound by a sapphire crystal rotor, further optimising the view of the movement and the finely-finished, bicolor bridges within.
