PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze Ltd Ed
Thanks to its distinctive design, durability and superior build quality, Hanhart’s 300 piece Limited Edition PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze stands out from the crowd. The functional combination of features makes it the perfect companion for myriad activities, whether in the air or on the water, on a plane or aboard a yacht, enjoying the beach or moving mountains in the office, the Nautic Pilot will rise to the occasion.
Love bronze but don’t fancy the Verdi gris effect? Well, thanks to the modern case material this bronze finish is designed not to patina over time with a copper rust. The original colour will be retained without change or need for constant reprocessing to restore the finish to its original condition.
The secret to the extremely hard-wearing case, resisting up to 1,300 Vickers (HV), is the hard bronze-coating over a stainless steel base. Other bronze-look watches typically use a copper-tin alloy which is softer and more susceptible to scratching. The result of Hanhart’s bronze finish is a striking case that is up to five times harder than normal steel cases, making it highly resistant to external influences and abrasion.
The functionality and design of the Nautic Pilot combines Hanhart’s specialised knowledge of aviation chronographs as well as years of field research and testing accumulated from building watches for the Marines.
As such, the PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze combines themes of air and water. The attractive, royal blue dial and the bronze case reflect a nautical theme while the clear dial design, skeletonised hands, strong luminosity and canvas strap with leather inlay reflect the attributes of aviation watches.
Despite its modern design, Hanhart’s signature features such as a fluted bezel, red index point and red pusher, have not been abandoned. Like the vintage models from 1930s, Hanhart relies on the proven and balanced bicompax design: sub-dials at 3 (30 minute stop) and 9 o’clock (small second). Perfect daytime and night time legibility is ensured by Super-Luminova coated numerals, hands and indices. Fexible lugs ensure a good fit and maximum comfort on the wrist making this timepiece a wonderful everyday watch that also performs under hard conditions.
