In conjunction with Sinn’s growing popularity, demand for a Sinn ladies watch also began to increase. This was the basis for the concept behind the 344 and 456 series of watches for women. Both model series are robust, well engineered, reliable and modern. They are mechanical yet not heavy, they are striking yet not masculine and they are bold but not austere. The 456 and 344 series strike a perfect balance between sport, functionality, and elegance. The cases are slightly smaller than the men’s series as they are tailored to female proportions. The result is a range of fine watches, engineered to Sinn’s reputed high, German standards and appropriate to many tastes and styles. After all, why should the men have all the fun!
The models in the 456 series range from casual sports instruments through to elegant formal and evening timepieces worthy of admiration. Each watch is presented in a delicate 28mm case and remains just as precise as its ‘big brothers’, the classic stainless steel chronometers for which Sinn has become renowned. The clean dials of the 456 series watches allow for easy legibility and convey a minimalistic feeling of understated glamour. Each model series has been given a face of its own. The deep shimmering blacks and individual blue hues are achieved via a galvanic process to lock in the vibrancy of the tone. Similarly, pretty mother of pearl shades of rose, light blue and rainbow white create a fun range of youthful and feminine watches that can be mixed and matched to any outfit or occasion. Some models are available with roman numerals and others with Arabic numbers, depending on your particular taste and preference there is a model to suit everyone. The numerals themselves and markers are applied by hand and those on black dials have been hand costed with special long-lasting luminous paint to ensure legibility at all times. The dials are designed to be functional and no superfluous detail has been added to unnecessarily complicate these timepieces. The high grade ETA 2671 automatic movement with 25 jewels and 28,800 vibrations per hour form the heart of these graceful ladies watches. Along with hours, minutes and seconds, the date is displayed at 6 o’clock. An anti-reflective, scratchproof sapphire crystal protects the movement from the front and back allowing enthusiasts of filigreed mechanics a glance into the inner working of each timepiece. The 456 series watches are naturally all shockproof and water resistant to 10 bar or 100m.
