In-line with the design of traditional instrumental chronographs, Sinn’s 358 Sa Pilot DS delivers clarity and functionality. In an a-typical manner, Sinn has embellished this tried and tested model with a special dial treatment that adds an edge of individuality to each piece.
Each dial on a 358 DS is finished with a manually-applied, decorative grinding which allows its wearer to enjoy an exciting play of silvery-grey tones as the base material reflects different nuances of light in a discreet fashion. This makes every 358 Sa Pilot DS unique because the pattern achieved during the machining process is non-repeatable. Despite it’s intriguing visual texture, nothing is lost in terms of legibility and the dial remains uncompromisingly clear.
The look is completed by the satinised finish on the 42 mm case and a classic, high-domed sapphire crystal. A nice touch is the sapphire crystal, exhibition case back which affords a good view into the movement and workings within.
In terms of technology, Sinn’s 358 Sa DS has a lot to offer: Ar‑Dehumidifying Technology enhances greater functional reliability and freedom from fogging, a tidy date and day display add information without crowding the dial and the model is resistant to low pressure, waterproof to 100m and pressure-resistant up to 10 bar.
