Panova’s striking blue dial is designed to reflect light in different ways to create a dazzling appearance and ensure optimal legibility. The contrasting orange batons, minute gradation marks and second hand add a touch of ‘nautical charm’ to this piece and add an element of clarity.
As with all Mühle watches, functionality remains paramount and the addition of Superluminova on the hour marks and hands facilitates legibility in dimly lit environments.
Its high-quality stainless steel case boasts a pressure resistance of up to 10 bars (100m) and with its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and screw-in crown, the Panova Blue is perfectly equipped to be the ideal time measuring companion for everyday use. This fact is additionally underlined by its precise movement: a SW 200-1 Mühle version movement featuring both the company’s own rotor and its patented, shockproof woodpecker neck regulation. Once all of its components have been carefully finished and assembled, the SW 200-1 “Mühle version” movement is put to the test in six different positions and regulated to achieve a precision of between 0 and a maximum of +8 seconds per day. This precision target forms the heart of Mühle’s in-house regulation standards, which comply with the German chronometer standard and help to ensure that the watch never runs slow in-line with the company’s ethos of precision.
