Lang & Heyne Moritz White Gold
As one of the most important rulers of Saxony, the elector Moritz combined political and military talent with his interest in culture. He ruled Saxony from Dresden during the mid-1550s exhibiting political and diplomatic delicacy that laid the foundation for a cultural and political revival of the area.
Moritz is dedicated to the complex and rich legacy left by this ruler and his passion for diversity. With classical, symmetrical division of the dial, this model combines all functions of a full calendar (date, day, and month) as well as a moon phase/small second and an earth disk showing the earth’s declination angle and day/night indicator set close to the centre of the dial in a gold chaton. The true achievement is the presentation of this detail without clutter in the small space of the watch dial.
The white gold timepiece is clean and easy-to-read. This piece is perfectly suited to all occasions and will appeal to the explorers and seekers among us.
