Hentschel’s signature collection of nautical chronometers with small second display, pays tribute to the historical importance of clarity, precision and functionality in timekeeping. The models comprising the H2 collection are the Harbour Master and Hamburg Ambassador.
Hamburg Ambassador… a tribute to nautical chronometry. Classic lines and a streamlined dial design are perfectly framed in a stunning matt case, manufactured from specially-treated ship propeller bronze. Available with either a manual (with small second display) or automatic movement to suit the day to day needs of the wearer, this timepiece is both subtle and exceptionally robust thanks to the heard-wearing case material.
Movement: Hand-ennobled vintage 1960s HB313, self-winding calibre with 25 Jewels also available as manual AS1130 movement with 37hr power reserve. Hand refinements include: a double sunburst decoration on the ratchet and crown wheels, perlage and stripe finishes on bridges and plates, flame-blued screws and a hand-skeletonized rotor (auto version).
Case: Matt polished, specially-finished (non-oxidizing), ship-propeller bronze – extremely robust, water resistant to 50m/5ATM
