Alexander Shorokhoff’s Kandy collection is really eye candy for the watch lover.
The original Kandy collection with guilloched dials present a checker board effect that allows light to play over the dial in a very charming manner. Everything about these watches from their gorgeous quadratic cases to their intriguing dials is pure artistry.
In his own words, designer Alexander Shorokhoff says: “The Kandy collection embodies good design and robust functionality, proving you can have workable art that tells you the time and brings you joy. I like to think this piece pays homage to the famous Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky and his empathetic connection to form and colour.”
Shorokhoff’s signature avantgarde design with oversized numerals and clearly visible hands is maintained in the classic Kandy collection. The beautifully finished dials present an almost 3D effect that changes tone and morphs under different light creating an ever-changing canvas on your wrist.
The reverse side of the watch is no less fascinating than its face. In typical Shorokhoff style, even the underside and movement have been given an artistic treatment. Set into the back of the case are four round glass windows in red, blue and yellow which provide a glimpse to the engraved movement within. The circular window shapes are proportioned exactly to match the edges of the case, thus maintaining design balance while delivering diversity of form.
The case itself is also more than meets the eye. In fact, it is initially constructed without lugs – they are welded to the back side at a later stage. In this way it is possible to insert the silver or golden wires into the milled channels on the case side in a continuous length. Upon request it is also possible to fill the channels with coloured enamel if you require a more bespoke look.
Every element of Alexander Shorokhoff’s Kandy Classic timepiece is well-planned and perfectly executed. All elements add up to an restrained timepiece that will endure the test of time and hold its own for many years to come.
TIP: the bold red dial delivers a real statement and is not for the faint-hearted. Wear this piece with a red leather band and you will catch every eye in the room – for the right reasons – your sense of style!

This automatic watch is also available with a stainless steel folding clasp or a high-quality stainless steel Milanese strap at additional cost. The enamel on the side of the case can be customized.
