Baselworld 2017 has proven to be another exciting year in terms of new releases and new technologies.
While companies such as Hentschel, Moritz Grossmann and Habring2 continue to forge ahead with their in-house calibres, brands such as Bruno Soehnle, MeisterSinger and Sinn have developed some very interesting pieces in response to public demand for functionality and wearability. Most noticeably Bruno Sohnle has released a stunning Titanium collection “Frankfurt” with both quartz and mechanical ranges, MeisterSinger introduces a water resistant sport watch Salthora Meta X and Sinn launches a ‘must-have’ Mission Timer EZM 12 and a fabulous ladies’ quartz collection (yes, Sinn quartz technology – finally!)
In other news, Muehle-Glashuette has successfully consolidated its collections and enhanced the classic Teutonia range with a stylish Sport variant that we are very excited about. Lehmann has released a stunning black ceramic collection that is beyond compare in terms of design and precision and in the headlines once more is Armin Strom for its successful realisation of a resonance calibre – one of the hardest watchmaking feats possible.
